Building for Life Assessor Training (Jul 10)

October 5, 2011adminTraining

Following on from the success of our initial training event in February of last year, we again teamed up with CABE to deliver more Building for Life Accredited Assessor training, this time in Oxford. For those who missed our last event, this was a chance to become a fully accredited Building for Life Assessor. Building for Life is the national standard for well designed homes and neighbourhoods, and CABE are committed to training on member of each planning authority to become an Accredited Assessor.

The day saw around 25 delegates turn out for what was an illuminating and enjoyable session. TransForm Places team members Sue McGlynn and Ivor Samuels delivered the training along with CABE’s BfL team, while Garry and Helen helped facilitate the event.

As with the first event we ran, the session was intense and there were some very interesting and in-depth question and answer sessions as people got to grips with BfL and how they could use it to deliver quality on the ground.

We now have a further 25 candidates hoping to become Accredited Assessors and we look forward to future events.
